Predictable Text-Kprep Morning

Predictable texts are favorites of teachers, students, and parents because children can read them easily once they notice the predictable pattern and know how to use the pictures to help with the words. Each week in our literacy center, we illustrate and read aloud a different predictable book. We watch for sight words, talk about strategies we can use during reading, and read them one-on-one with a teacher. Believe it or not, we were reading on our very first day of preschool! WOW!
