When children interact with items in a sensory bin, they are playing with a variety of materials and textures which stimulate the mind. There are no specific rules about how to play with a sensory bin, it is self-directed learning. Some of the benefits of sensory bin play are practice with fine motor skills, language development, improvement in focus and concentration, play based learning, and it stimulates the five main senses. We love creating a variety of activities that the children are thrilled to get their hands on!
