Ice Surprise-Morning
Today for science, we let our students have free discovery time. Each child was given an ice cube with a colorful surprise frozen inside. With no specific directions and a variety of tools, the children were given free reign to decide how to best melt their ice. In our experiment we followed the scientific process by observing, comparing, sorting and organizing. There were numerous questions asked and time given for exploring, testing and experimenting. After all that, we recorded our results to represent our new understanding.
