The study of patterns is exciting and satisfying for young children. Once they begin to recognize the predictability of patterns, they can begin to create their own. Today we made a variety of patterns and labeled them with ABC's. Each letter represented a color cube. We came up with all different alphabet patterns like AABB, AB, ABC, ABB.
