In our science center we conducted an experiment by combining a few simple ingredients. While working, we watched for clues to see that a chemical reaction was taking place. We kept an eye out for changes in light, heat, color, odor or sound. We learned that a chemical change produces a new substance that wasn't there before. Sure enough, a chemical change took place because in the end we had snow with real crystals. We channeled our inner Elsa and created a scene straight from Frozen!
