Spider Study-KPrep Morning

Science for young children should involve asking questions, probing for answers, conducting investigations and collecting data. Science, rather than being viewed as the memorization of facts, becomes a way of thinking and trying to understand the world. One of the best ways we have found to teach and reinforce science concepts is by using non-fiction books. Our big books about spiders gave us a large and in depth view of spiders and their habitats. If you haven't already, ask your child what they know about spiders. You might be surprised to learn something new yourself!
