After reading My Monster Mama Loves Me So by Laura Leuck we created our own monster momma and mini monster. This play dough activity created an opportunity for simple, tactile play. We squashed, squeezed, rolled, flattened, chopped, cut, scored, raked, punctured, poked and shredded! Each one of these different actions aids fine motor development in a different way. Our hand-eye coordination and general concentration improved while our creativity ran wild.
