To welcome the spring season we read Hurry! Hurry! by Eve Bunting. In this happy story, the animals race to the barn and watch with awe as a baby chick hatches. The farm animals cheer an excited "Welcome! Welcome!" We used this book as inspiration for our own welcome to spring. This simple art project inspired story telling, mini chick voices, and caused our imaginations to run wild!
