Today we participated in interactive writing. Students helped construct the poem by sharing the pen, physically and figuratively, with the teacher. We read and reread our poem to make a connection between reading and writing. After drafting up our own version of the poem, we created a crazy creature with rainbow hair!
Rainbow purple, rainbow blue, rainbow green and yellow too.
Rainbow orange, rainbow red, rainbow colors on my head.
Colors, colors everywhere. I like rainbows in my hair!
