Many adults think of science as a discrete body of knowledge, but for young children, science is finding out about the everyday world that surrounds them. That is exactly what they are interested in doing, all day, every day. Today we spent time mixing red, yellow, and blue to create new colors. It was the perfect introduction to our study of rainbows this month.
