Real science begins with curiosity, which leads to discovery and exploration. Like adult scientists, children need opportunities to think and compare ideas with the ideas of others. Today we did just that. Using items from nature, students compared texture, size, color, and shape. They recorded their findings and discussed their ideas with their peers.
